missed 2nd straight day with achilles problem....Lions said to probably not risk him against Green Bay , but have him full go for play-off game #1.

No i think he'll play... maybe not the full game.. but he should be active... he was quoted saying this was the best he's ever felt this time of year

I'm just extremely hopeful we win and can get that 5 seed... i think had atlanta won against new orleans last week they would've just sat him this week.. but not with the opportunity to play giants/cowboys

if he practices tomorrow...he'll play..if not he'll sit.

I think the Lions can still win the game even if CJ isn't playing..I am assuming that GB will be resting anybody who is even a little bit injured for this game and they are without Jennings too.

I would prefer that they rest Calvin and get him as close to 100% for the playoffs as they can.

Avoid NO at all costs even if we need to sit him against Dallas/NYG. Play CJ play!

I dunno..even if we play Dal/NYG in the first round we will still have to play GB or NO second rd..on order to beat either of those teams our Best players need to be healthy..

NYG/Dallas at their place won't be easy. Especially in NY I suspect.

we're going on the road no matter what. I say sit him out unless there's no chance of making the injury worse or prolonging it.

Stovall was in for the 4th QTR of the SD game. I doubt we see Calvin play Sun. I wouldnt risk it. And if we get down early you may see other key players pulled early. But we are in the PLAYOFF'S!!!!!

It might help stafford grow as a qb to play without calvin.

Sucks if you lose you might have to play @saints though.

Its the Packers defense. Without CJ they're still putting up 40.

The same defense they didn't score on untill the game was basically over at home. They're going to put up 40 without their best player.

How are you not coaching in the pros or working for espn.

Even if we lose to GB, if Atlanta loses to Tampa somehow dont we still get 5 seed?

That is correct, but Tampa blows monkey nuts. I know, I know...any given Sunday...

Hoping that the fucking Bucs don't lose out for the season in 10 straight for a high(er) draft pick is probably waaay out of the question, I guess.

But their fans probably have said the same thing during the past decade, about our oft-losing Lions teams as well.

Bullcrap. He's playing.

thanks Doc.

He's been on the injury list as questionable/probable almost every game of his career. How many has he actually missed? A chance to end another nasty streak for the Lions and first 11 win season in 17 years....he's playing...
