I have no idea what kind of a track record this market has, if any, but they treat predictions like stocks that can be traded continuously and generate odds from the resulting stock prices.

Right now, Rubio has the highest odds of getting the Republican nod at 45%. Trump is a 13%. Carson and Bush are at 8 and 7%. I was surprised, with how strong Trump and Carson seem in the polls.

The Rubio thing is apparently a dictate from the High and Mighty People Who Rule the Country, because he hasn't done shit, and has consistently polled worse than Trump & Carson, and was even behind JEBush for a long while.

However, he's the only one who's been elected for anything among the three, and is obviously the only "safe choice" from the standpoint of the RNC.

his personal history is a joke.

the Clown Car has careened around the track a few times already, and only a couple of passengers have tumbled out and run to the sidelines.

I'm guessing the RNC, Koch Bros., etc. figured the "peoples' candidates" Trump & Carson would've fallen out as well by now* and they'd have one reliable Conservative politician to choose from. But since that hasn't happened, and Trump and Carson are still leading in the polls, this week I started seeing articles from mainstream publications simply declaring that Rubio was going to win the nomination. I guess they got tired of waiting for the right thing to happen, and figured they had to take matters into their own hands.

From what I've read about Rubio's career, that's basically how it's gone for him all along. There are a couple wealthy FL backers who bail him out financially whenever he gets in trouble, and who have pushed him to run for office repeatedly. He doesn't seem particularly bright or enthusiastic, but doing this is obviously easier for him than getting a real job.

*you wonder who was REALLY behind the bombs tossed at Carson for all the made up shit in his book... $5 says it wasn't "the liberal media"

Rubio is one of a few on the Republican side I'd consider voting for over Hillary. Please Bernie, don't fail me. Don't make me vote for that ugly human being.
