Jack Conklin and Michael Geiger named freshman All Americans 1st team.

Pretty remarkable for a zero star recruit to become a Freshman All American playing left tackle on a Rose Bowl winning team. Conklin had 55 pancake blocks this year, but really excelled in pass protection. Still has to get a lot stronger, but tis kid has NFL written all over him IMO, if not as a LT as a dominant RT.
Geiger was the #1 rated kicker coming out of HS, so it's not as surprising, but he was clutch.
7 freshman All Americans in 7 years under Dantonio. I predict either Joe Reschke or Ezra Robinson makes it next season.
