cop fired for NOT killing a black man

Of course you mention that the guy was black...which had absolutely nothing to do with the situation. The only victim here is the cop that was fired.

It sounds like he wanted to be killed for some purpose. "Just shoot me." "Was killed as he walked towards other officers.." There will be some who will blame the cops but no one at that time knew the gun was unloaded..

Suspension? Some lesser discipline? Why dismissal? Relegate him to traffic duty or an admin role.

Oh its in West Virginia where no votes or money are to be made, ok just business as usual. Seriously, sucks for all 3 officers and the family of the guy that got shot. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. I would like to know what the other two incidents are outlined in the termination letter.
