Brandon Pettigrew is 8th in the NFL in receptions (3rd amongst TEs).
10th in receiving yds amongst TEs

I found a stat that also says he has had 10 dropped passes.

Weird I was looking at the leaders for receiving and saw him there. Made me vomit a bit

he needs to clean up his work...he could be outstanding......way too many drops(more than 10) and penalized way too much

He also leads the league in false starts by a skilled position player per the announcers yesterday. I like Pettigrew, but I wish we'd see more of Scheffler.

Another crazy stat

Lions outscored AFC West opponents 159-50

Maybe he could be outstanding? He already is. Few less penalties and dropped passes and he's HOF.

one of Mayhews best draft picks....TE who is growing with the QB he was drafted with.

wasn't brought in to stretch the field...it's why they made the deal for Scheffler.

Some people can be ... (I have no word here). He's putting up monster numbers. Of course he's no David Sloan but still a beast.

He's a great not a good young TE, sure he has to clean up the drops and mental errors, but the guy is a stud and will be a force for years. He's a top 6 or 7 TE in the NFL. To be so young and so good already is outstanding. The guy is having a nice career and is going to get better, he has a chance to be a pro bowler.

The dropped passes gets overblown. It happens to everyone. Welker lead the league with 13 drops last year. Pett has 6 drops this year (Burleson has 9 to lead us). Guys who have more drops than Pett:

Roddy White 13
Dwayne Bowe 12
Jermichael Finely 11
Desean Jackson 9
Dallas Clark 8
Steve Smith 7
Anquan Boldin 7
Hakeenm Nicks 7
Victor Cruz 7

Good receivers will have more drops than bad receivers its basic math. The better you are the more you get the ball the more chances for a drop. Pett is becoming a force in the middle for this team, CJ has truly separated himself from the rest of the receivers I used to think him and AJ were neck and neck but the gap is widening. And titus is improving every game and really could be a great compliment to CJ. The young talent on this team is astounding they just need to put it all together.
