Lions waived OT Johnny Culbreath.
Another of the Lions' offseason arrestees falls by the wayside. Last year's seventh-rounder, Culbreath was arrested in January for possession of marijuana. He missed his entire rookie season with a blood pressure issue.

Lions signed OT Jonathan Scott, formerly of the Steelers.
Scott began his career in Detroit as a fifth-round pick back in 2006. A swing tackle at best, the 29-year-old may have to beat out Corey Hilliard and the oft-injured Jason Fox for the final O-Line roster spot.

I think Fox's days are numbered. Oft injured is putting it lightly I swear he gets injured just by thinking about playing in a game.

If he's still on the team it's pretty much a guarantee he'll be injured by week 1.

That was my first thought when I heard they signed Scott. We have a little log jam at OT. Scott is actually serviceable.
Scott, Hilliard, Backus, Goz, Reiff........unless someone can play OG.......Fox is history

Meh...at least he started.

Backup material anyways. Culbreath was a bum.
