Defiant Dems counting illegal ballots?

In Pennsylvania, the race between McCormick and Casey went to an automatic recount (according to PA law). Democrats in Bucks county defiantly stated that they will count ballots even though they didn't meet the requirements (dates missing from envelopes, etc), even though they're going against Pennsylvania laws, as well as the recent PA state court rulings stating that they cannot be counted.

It took some time before the governor Shapiro finally chimed in to say those ballots cannot be counted.

How is the counting of ballots that should not be counted election interference?

Can't be a surprised, some of those counties in 2020 had more votes than registered voters.
