Denard still #1 in total offense

The defense is a little better at least they have cut down on giving up the huge plays and they did stop ND on a few 3rd and 1's but not as good as I had hoped.
 
at least mattison makes adjustments

i had hoped for a bit more too knowing it was still a major work in progress
 
Yes I know the adjustments on both sides of the ball have led to wins. I also like the fact that Mattison changes things up and shows a lot of different looks and blitz packages.
 
Huge change from last year. T-10 in Turnover Margin. (I know it is not what we want to see exactly in the D, but it is a big difference)
 
I read a comment on Sunday that said something like, "Mattison is running an NFL defense with kids who don't have the ability or football accumen to execute it"

I took it as 'Kovacs is no Ed Reed' and am OK with it ....can't wait for the upcoming seasons and development of talent.
