I think they did judging by the slurpfest going on on ESPN. Honest to god ESPN outta be embarrassed, you would have thought the 92 Dream Team just lost or something.

Exactly what I was thinking. MSU won........but lets give a lot of credit to these Kentucky freshmen, ohh my God they played so well in the second half, Julius Randle is a beast!!!! (Don't mind the fact he had 5+ turnovers which translates to about 10 in the NBA) they just need to fix some things up and they'll be unstoppable come tournament time - Every analyst on ESPN
 
You hear randles name 5 times for every mention of appling. Look ar his stat line, pretty damn good
 
The one guy actually said Randle's performance was bigger than the actual game, it was the big story. No buddy, it's still a team game and the winning team is the big story.
 
If AP stayed out of foul trouble we would have won by 20
 
I did find Jalen Rose's whole attention envy story got tired. when he asked Izzo about it after the game, after harping on it at half time I wished Izzo would have said something like, "well Jalen, being a Detroit kid and having grown up in Chris Webber's shadow, you know from experience that media attention or lack of can be a motivating factor..."
