Looks like some of the Republicans are hoping to score back what many of them believed was a pro-Obama Super Bowl ad [Actually a Chrysler Ad] by getting Clint's endorsement and asking him to speak on the final night.

This guy may lose some votes for the GOP in the future though: For his part, Bruce Thompson, a California GOP delegate quoted in Fox's story, didn't have quite the fanboy reaction to the Eastwood news that Republican Party promoters might be hoping for. "He's all right, despite being associated with Hollywood," Thompson allowed.
