Do you see Denard projecting to the NFL?

Obviously not as a quarterback, but with his quickness and overall speed, I'd be shocked if he didn't get a look as a KR.

Armani Edwards, of App State

:(" title="" border="0"/> , is a WR and a return guy for Carolina this year. Other Robinson-esque QB's like Cribbs and Danzler have found varying levels of success as WR and return men. Do you think Denard could be successful in the NFL or no?

He will definitely be drafted as a slot WR/possible scat back/KR...His speed and ability to run are going to have teams interested in taking a loot at him. It will be interesting to see what kind of hands he has as a WR. I think he could do well and if he can catch the ball could be Percy Harvin-esque possibly. That would be his upside. Downside would be that he is just a special teams guy and never really clicks within the NFL. Definitely worth a team taking a late flyer on him though in my opinion.

He has NFL talent for sure, just not at QB, is the general consensus I think. He has good speed, vision, and agility whilst running, can throw decent for a rare trick play. If he can catch at all I dont see why he wouldn't get seriously looked at as a RB.

It would have to be a 3rd down Dexter McCluster type of back. Any more than 10 carries a game in the NFL and he would be in a body cast sooner or later.

Possibly, but any back is susceptible to injury. I think he would be a viable candidate for a bigger role in an offense, whether its in other facets than RB or not. But I agree well have to see if he has hands, that would help his stock a bit. But all his chips are in his running ability, and hype, coming out of college.

I wonder what Merle Hodge will have to say about Shoelace...

*rolls eyes*

He's too impressive an athlete not to get a shot in camp somewhere.

I could see him as a "package guy" with minimal success in the NFL. A Mcluster type guy but with less success than he's having.

I think Denard has a better shot at making a Pro Bowl as a returner than Tebow does of making it as a QB.

Kordell Stewart and Antwan Randell-El made the conversion. They were probably better QBs than Denard, but neither has the speed and agility of DR.

Nobody knows if he can even catch... The worst decision he could make is the same one that Pat White made. Best case scenario he ends up a Randle El clone. Worst case Pat White...

Not a terrible choice by White considering he was still drafted in the 2nd round but I get your point. I don't think anyone who's had playing time on Michigans offense will be an NFL player besides possibly Molk. Garder obviously is an incomplete right now.

Lewan still has two more years after this season. He will be a first day pick and a starting LT in the league day from day one.

Regarding Lewan, it's possible, but he needs to cool off his temper. He had a ton of personal foul penalties last year and a handful more this season. No doubt he is talented though.

some on the OL maybe.

One of our WRs may get a break, have a good camp, get signed. I don't think they go very highly in any draft though.

Really? I only remember the one last game.

I wonder what Hemingway's 40 time is. That and injury concerns will probably keep him undrafted, but he has a shot at playing.

honestly I didn't think of Lewan but you're right, he has a good shot at being a high round pick in the NFL if he continues to progress..

I don't see Hemingway being much of an NFL player. Don't know that he'd be able to get open. I could see him going REAALY late or maybe making a team in camp but thats about it.

I should have said I don't see anybody but Molk being MUCH of an NFL player. I'm sure there will be a few guys who make teams but never amount to anything. As said before I forgot about Lewan.

Lewan, barring injury is a 1st or 2nd round pick. 2 more years under Hoke and I would say 1st round. Robinson is a long shot IMO, He has speed but suspect to injury will hurt him big!

Roundtree if he can hold on to the damn ball, and Koger could improve his stock with a good pro day. I just don't see any more than 1 NFL long term career on this team. Maybe two but Molk is debatable, even though he is one of my favorite players on the team. He is smaller than most NFL teams will like.

What about our DT Martin??? They were saying he would have been drafted fairly high last year if he would have come out...
