The AFC is for the taking when it comes to the playoffs but this doesn't make then an auto contender and that's a lot of cash to not get into the playoffs.

12.5 a year to Wallace who can't run routes, has below average agility for his speed and sub par hands. He's a verticle threat who's verticle numbers have gone down drastically every year with a QB who throws one of the best deep balls in the NFL..now he's got Tannehill and the Miami offense.

They overpaid for every person they brought in...would have been better off keeping Dansby and Burnett. You build your team to win inside the division first and foremost. They replaced a couple linebackers who couldn't get to Tom Brady and couldn't cover with more of the same but for more money. Just doesn't makea lot of sense to me. What do they have now 19 million a year wrapped up in hartline and Wallace?

I would have skipped out on Wallace and tried to give Long his 11 million per. I think this team is oging to struggle over the next 5 years unless they kill the drafts. They're gonna have bad contracts laying around like the Al Davis Raiders.

Dolphins remain in the hunt for FA Jake Long

NFL Network's Jeff Darlington reported on Total Access Wednesday that the Dolphins still haven't ruled out re-signing free agent Jake Long.

Tweeted Long less than an hour ago, "Got the tour of STL today and was pleasantly surprised. Not selling our house in MIA though!" Reported Darlington, "I'm told that the Dolphins still do really like Long. They do still want him back." If the Rams were going to bowl Long over with a contract, we suspect it would have happened by now. Long's decision is clearly down to St. Louis and Miami.

Signing Flacco coming off of a remarkable playoff run and being the main reason they won a super bowl to be the highest paid player like every QB gets when they win it all is a little different than signing a deep threat who ranked 7th worst in deep ball reception efficiency to be the 3rd highest paid player at his position. Lol
