id be torn with this pick. I agree TE isn't a major need and shouldn't be picked at 10. But I also agree pettidrop is a piece of shit...mayhew continues to invest in pieces of shit which has turned this franchise from a millen piece of shit into a mayhew piece of shit.

We make the mistake of drafting pettidrop in the 1st round. we realize we make the mistake of drafting pettidrop in the first rd. Then we reward him for it....god damn mayhew is fucked up.

So with that being said....if we pick ebron and he becomes he "jimmy graham" of this offense....then fuck Pettigrew.

Different skill sets. Pettigrew is still very useful underneath moving the chains and blocking. It would be nice to have a good seam TE like Ebron. Can definitley use both plenty. Snaps for everyone.

Graham had 775 snaps for Saints and Ben Watson had 500 snaps.

He would pretty much be a receiving threat. Would we still be looking for another receiver early in the draft?

If he is still available, probably the best player available at the ten spot. May be the 3rd best player in the draft. I like him and it would be more difficult to scheme against him then say any other WR drafted, no matter who it is. With 2 TE's in the formation, defenses can only guess, then it's up to an elite QB to read, adjust, deliver. Unfortunately, Stafford has yet to prove he can think like an elite QB. I think Stafford has it in him but he needs to be a little more humble and except he has some serious flaws in his game.
