Lions placed LB Isaiah Ekejiuba (shoulder) on injured reserve, ending his season.
A leader on the Lions' special teams unit, Ekejiuba was knocked out of last week's game with a shoulder injury. The 29-year-old is a free agent in 2012.

Lions re-signed CB Anthony Madison.
Madison's phone rings off the hook when a special teams coverage star goes down with an injury. That's the case in Detroit, where he'll take the roster spot of LB Isaiah Ekejiuba.
