Joseph Fauria, Detroit Lions tight end: Offensive coordinator Scott Linehan has unearthed quite a red-zone weapon in the 6-foot-7 Fauria, whose playing time increased Sunday because of Tony Scheffler's concussion. Quarterback Matthew Stafford targeted Fauria in single coverage three times against the Cleveland Browns, and he caught all three for touchdowns. Fauria has caught seven passes this season in nine targets. Five have gone for touchdowns, and he has quickly developed a cult following for corny but enthusiastic post-touchdown dances. According to his Twitter account, Sunday's dances were (in order): gas pedal, windmill and cabbage patch. I for one have no idea what any of that means, but wanted to provide the information for those who might..

I'm not glad that Sheff got a concussion or anything, but I'm glad Fauria had an opening to show what he's capable of bringing. We all know that if left up to Schwartz, it would have been 3yrs down the road before they deemed him ready to step up and contribute (since he wasn't a day one draft pick).

Totally agree.

Scheff and Fauria are 2 different TE's. Fauria went undrafted cause he can't block and he is slow (Pettigrew slow). Scheff is fast and can outrun LB's down the seam, Fauria wont be outrunning anyone. I'm happy for Fauria and what he has been able to do in the end zone but don't get too far ahead of yourselves thinking he is going to be anything more than be an all world 3 flys up champion.

ROFL if you really think a banged up Schef is any faster than Joe Fauria.... I want some of what your smoking

Nothing wrong with his speed its his brain its all mushed like best. I want what your smoking if you think Fauria is as fast as Scheff.

As long as the stupid coaching staff realizes his role. He's not a between the 20's TE. Inside the red zone, keep it that way stupid Schwartz.
