there are plenty of links out there. getting to the images on the FBI's site froze up my browser twice, so... caution.

hard to tell if they're middle eastern or not; they could be lots of things

had a hunch these guys are ex-military; reminded me of this plot.

was looking at the pics from 4chan vic had linked to the other day... these guys weren't in most - if any - of them, which is odd... but obviously with lots of people carrying black backpacks, it's easy to focus on dozens, if not hundreds of suspects, and without date & time in the pics, it's hard to narrow it down.

of course, they could be Middle Eastern. a couple news sites discussed how prevalent pressure cooker bombs are in Pakistan and SE Asia right now. but that may not mean anything, as anyone can go on the internet and figure out how to make this sort of explosive device.

There's nothing definitive about these images. No positive ID can be made from them. I'm glad I don't resemble these two men. MC ... no idea you lived in The Sudan.

agreed, near impossible to say with certainty what their ethnicity is, which is why i am very glad the authorities have not ruled out domestic terrorism and refuse to point fingers solely at the Muslim community. it seems the tide has turned, the authorities are behaving appropriately while the media makes an ass of themselves!

when i looked at those 4chan photos i initially thought there was a good chance they had one of them, the one who was with the guy in blue and eventually his backpack is missing. however, the site became questionable to me when the person was going off the deep end claiming there was a conspiracy going on and trying to make it look like it was the work of the government or something. the images were interesting, but i just cannot fathom the government doing something like this and creating a backstory where the suspects were with the NRA and they would use this as a way to take away our guns. that was some whacked out writing. if you looked at the site early on, that info wasn't on it, but if you go there now you will see some really crazy conspiracy stuff written on it.
