So my wife asked an interesting question.

Vegan mothers who want to raise their children vegan...do any nurse their babies?
 
That's not a good guess. It's probably some, but not all. I'll guess 2/3rds do and 1/3rd don't.
 
Yes, because its the baby's natural nourishment. They have issues with outside sources like cows.
 
As a former vegan (who still eats primarily vegan) Monster's answer is correct. Like the milk of a cow is intended for a calf, the breast milk of a human is produced for consumption of developing humans.
 
Cool, figured some would and others, like any other demographics, might use formula that is soy based.
