Wow early start to the thread and very active already with still an hour before game time. From cry from that abysmal thread on Friday.

Oakland is #1 in Team ERA in the AL, #1 in Runs, #2 in OBP, huge + run differential. I'll be surprised if the Tigers manage to take 1 of these 3. I Don't expect the offense to do anything tonight. Hope I'm wrong. Oakland is a far superior team right now than the Tigers.

At least our 3 and 4 hitters saw some pitches and made him work. 4 pitches to the 1st two batters, 16 to Miggy and JD.

JB expanded the zone way too often there, fouled some off but ultimely k"d hacking away at crap out of the zone. Terrible ...too many hackers expanding the zone

Have you seen his at bats tonight massive zone expansion, he's much better when he's not doing that. I want to see him succed not hack his way back to the bench. We need JD to make the pitcher throw strikes he's not going to be getting many fastballs anymore until he learns to lay off the change up out of the zone
