I can remember as a kid seated somewhere behind third base in the lower deck at Tiger Stadium with my Dad. Griffey was young then and still with the Mariners. He hit one of the hardest balls I've ever seen, a hooking line drive off the facing of the right field roof that seemed to exit the stadium in about one second. Ever since then, he has been one of my favorite players.
