Gruden Talking to Raiders?

I don't particularly think Gruden is much of a coach.

Maybe not from an Xs and Os standpoint...that's what coordinators are for. He brings the level of discipline we desparately need.

I think players want to play for him and coaches want to coach with him. He seems to be a decent evaluator of talent.

Bill Cowher would be my first choice....for all the same reasons plus. However, I don't see him leaving the comfort of the studio for a while.

From everything I've heard gruden is all X's and O's and fails to form trust from his players.

Is Marty available. He might finally make is routinely first round losers but dammit at this point I'll take it. He is still alive right?

We're stuck with our staff I feel like. Our only hope is if we get blown out in our remaining games, with it being obvious to tell that our players don't want to play for Schwartz. This is my dream scenario, we'll have a very high pick and hopefully a new staff. Then maybe we can hire the chin and let him go to work! For someone who's supposed to be a genius, I feel like Schwartz is a terrible in-game manager. For example, some of the stuff he does with timeouts, or non-timeouts make no sense.

Norv Turner might be available at the end of the year. Woooo-hoooo!!!

I hope the woooo-hoooo correctly portrays its intended sarcasm.

clearly we need to bring in marty S. then when he loses in the playoffs 2 straight years you bring in Norv to ruin the team.
