Detroit and Tampa Bay: 2 young teams in tough divisons. Weird to think that the first game of the season might have major wildcard implications.

haha i have thought this also...don't think they are a bad team..more like in that 8-8 range...i think all ten of their wins last year were against teams with losing records..they didn't beat one team with a winning record...given they are young and have a bright future..still not sure if they have IT yet..which is why im unsure if freeman is as good as he was last year...seriously look at their wins....not one is impressive..

the Bucs are a good young team , just like the Lions...they're doing things the right way by building around that DLINE...they have a decent young LB crew and good DBs.

their OLINE is suited to the power game and Blount is a train when he's rolling.

hoping for a Lions win..but it's going to be a real tough game.

I don't think you can compare the 2 defensive lines.. Not for another year of two at least. That oline looked like shit against NE too. I like our chances. 37-24 Lions
