Health Care Exchanges: Reps go Federal, Dems go State

States got to decide whether they wanted to run their own health care exchanges or participate in the federal government's exchange. The republicans opted for federal control, the democrats opted more often for state control. Go figure.

well, it's funny how that works. closely aligns with the "red state welfare queens" article.

the Reddest states, those that whine the loudest about federal law, federal supremacy, federal aid, taxes, etc. and oppose it for everyone else are the ones that IRONICALLY, or maybe HYPOCRITICALLY take in more federal aid than they pay out in taxes. in some cases, a lot more.

Wisconsin and Ohio are outliers due to their current aberrant tea-party affiliated and Koch-brothers funded governors.

Texas has always been a bit of an aberration... Texas is Texas as they say... big, stupid, and rich thanks to oil money.
