Higdon for the Heisman!

Higdon rushes for 144 yards on the #1 rushing defense in the country. Out rushed Taylor last week. Has had 6 100+yrd rushing games in a row . Yet, no talk of him for the Heisman? Why? The guy deserves some recognition. And he didn't play in the SMU game, otherwise it would be 7 games in a row and he would probably already be over 1000yrds for the season.

I doubt that MSU is the #1 defense against the rush anymore

even IF they are, it is a meaningless stat, because the last 2 teams had absolutely no trouble running the ball on them. The ones that had trouble, basically suck as far as running the ball goes...

but, that being said

YEAH. I'm all for it!!

You are probably right that MSU is no longer the #1 rushing defense. Higdon broke them! Sorry Sparty! Looking at Taylor's stats, his two big games where he rushed for over 200yrds were against powerhouses like Nebraska and New Mexico. If he is getting talk, Higdon deserves talk for the HT.
