Ive never really had this feeling for watching a lions game. Its to where i cant stand having to wait to watch them sunday.

Im not the biggest lion fan or NFL fan, more of a college football michgan nut. But with how good the team has played and the potential of the team. The Lions actually have me excited.

I know its early in the season but it feels different.

I just hope that they keep getting better, and hopefully we finish 8-8 or 9-7 at worst.

and not fool me again

Even during the 0-16 season I was still excited every Sunday...

Only difference now is I troll on a slight occasion...

It is a little painful going through the worst years with this team and seeing everyone jump aboard like 90% of the Tigers fans..

Well, I don't really get too interested in them till August anyways... I'll go to a few games, yeah, but I'm not interested in every single of the 162 games...

Ok ive always been a fan of the lions have always watched them. But not given them my heart because of being afraid of having my heart broken by them yet again.

Im just saying is that I cant wait to watch them each week.

will be leaving around 5PM...first stop, Chi Town..2nd, Minny Sat. around 1PM, find a pub, watch some college football...then Lions on Sun

You can't love a team unless they've broken your heart a few times. Ask red sux fans. They went through hell, but they have one of the strongest fan bases in sports. 0-16 was hard, but i went through every game, every broken thing i threw in anger. But now i see a new direction and when we finally can be considered an elite team, it will be so much sweeter.

Yep, it's always uncomfortably strange hearing people talking like they just got in the league as an expansion team, but I gotta get over that shit cause the better the team/record gets, the worse it's gonna get.

No doubt. I get this way right after each game, can't wait until following Sunday. Win or lose.

Bavarian Inn or Bavarian Inn Lodge?

Curious, I was an MOD at the Lodge :)

Who knew there was such a bavarian inn connection here. I used to serve at the restaurant. Speaking of the Lodge, I dont know if I have ever met a bigger C*nt than Judy Zehnder. I hate that word, but in reference to her, I find it quite appropriate
