We did, later on Saturday but only because of how we became eligible last year ..... So different, Defense especially.

People keep saying this, but I think the offense is helping. The fact that they've slowed down is helping the defense, as well. Its crazy, but maybe its not a good thing to score fast.

Special teams looks to have greatly improved, as well, with the possible exception being kickoff coverage.

Throw in no penalties and no fumbles and the defense is going to improve just by accident.

Of course, I do agree that the defense has improved, but these other tertiary things are helping, too.

I'm just saying I doubt we become bowl eligible by winning 67-65 ever again. I love the offense, it's so much more well-rounded than under Rich Rod, but the defense is playing a completely different game ... with the toughest tests to come, but still.
