Just to avoid those ridiculous comparisons to the 2008 team that will inevitably pop up.

if they do , will Schwartz be humbled ?

I don't know about us losing. Seems like our 2nd and 3rd teamers play harder than any other team's I know.

I just dont want any injuries. I wouldn't even let Staff, CJ, Nate, Best, or our entire starting def see the field. But I think the Schwartz plans on playing them 2 or 3 series. I just want to be ready for TB week 1 its a big game to see if we can start the season on the right foot.

No injuries, cut down penalties but lose on a last second FG. No 4-0 this year. And I want Schwartz to be humbled :)

Personally I don't care if they win or lose. I don't think the players are mentally fragile enough to think...oh no, we went 4-0 again, last time we went 0-16 following that, we're in trouble.

Then the topics or post that may pop up, i'll just not read. Since it really has no relevance.

That and I think we can all agree that this Lions team has way more talent top to bottom than that one did. Not to mention a coach and coordinators that are not brain dead.

Just show the pic in cheeno's sig line and it's an instant humbling for Schwartz.

I agree with everything and I know it will have no effect on the players but you just know those "special" posters and writers will be mentioning it if they win.

i hope the first team gets 2 series and scores both times then leaves with the lead. Shaun Hill comes in and adds to it, but in the 4th quarter their 3rd and 4th guys pull ahead and win. i don't want to be 4-0 either, but i want to see our top guys do well.

Yeah as long as our 1st team scores once or twice and our defense can make a few good stops, i'm fine with a win or an L.
