Get StartedHopefully Waddle, is good to go as well.
At this point I think having waddle back is more important
detroit should be getting Van Noy back too soon correct? and Jones?
van noy is expected out 10 weeks...probably more if we continue to win and hire half the FA LB lists.
I know you didn't expect a 2nd round pick to contribute
I think so too. I do think Ihedigbo will inspire this defense though.
Actually thought van noy would be the best 2nd rd pick ever for mayhew....lol obviously not saying much. But curse of mayhew strikes again. Bironis was on the accelerated mayhew plan.....he skipped the injury and drug phase and went straight to losing his mind.
I blame hughes for these injuries. He wants Mayhew to fail by injury. It's the hughes curse.
Mayhew has done a good enough job failing on his own....even before all of these injuries. Go look up his record as a GM if you need a reminder.
His accumulation of talent less injuries is incredibly good. When healthy Lions win. 6-3 start in 2013 and 7-3 start in 2011. Injuries in 2010 and 2012 early and often and late in 2011/2013.
Every Monday AM go to ESPN's NFL home page and there will be at least 5-10 players that are either done for the season or out for an extended period of time. EVERY team has injuries. Mayhew has not put together a deep team. He has some good starters but that is it. Maybe they are starting to get some decent depth...only time will tell. 3 games is NOT enough time!

Inspire them to do what?
They can't play much better than they have.
We just need to get Stafford more weapons and we will be fine.
