I may have to change my mock pick as my guy has refused an invitation to attend the draft.

Stanford OT Jonathan Martin has refused the NFL invitation to attend the draft in New York it could be a sign he is not confident about being drafted in the 1st round , reports as late as this past week have him all over NFL teams draft boards anywhere from 20 - 40. He has been tied to rumors to the Detroit Lions at 23 and possibly the New York Giants at 32 , if he does somehow fall out of round 1 we don't see him lasting long on Day 2 , although he was weak on the bench press at the combine and his Pro Day his pass protection skills are NFL caliber.

:ashamed:

Some first rounders like to spend it with family, no?

ya but his rumors are tied to when he is gonna get picked...Joe Thomas didn't attend he went fishing with his Father and Tebow didn't attend because he also didn't wanna do the Aaron Rogers and Brady Quinn sit around thing.

who knows....but Martin has been falling a little the last week.

They invite so many this days, almost 30. I remember when there might be 5 at the green table..

I can't see him falling out of the first myself, given that OTs with LT potential are always coveted.
