You know, people act like this is an unusual team for Izzo, it isn't, some of his Final 4 teams were perimeter shooting teams who ran.

We ran the ball tonight and that's what wore Iowa down. Team needs to push the ball hard every game.

Schilling/Costello: 31 minutes played combined, 7 fouls. That can't happen. Those need to learn how to defend without commiting stupid fouls and forcing Izzo to put Wollenman out there.

What changed the game was our defense. Iowa scored 17 points in the last 17 minutes of the game. Wouldn't have won without the shooting, but it was our defense that got it started. And we ran in the 2nd half which Iowa was totally not able to deal with, they looked dead tired the last several minutes while trying to come back.
