Is Cooper a Realistic Target at 5?

Seems his name is coming up a lot. I know there is a lot of pre-draft BS, but I just can't shake the feeling that he is a real option for them. Obviously the talk of us trading up for Johnson is complete BS, and I'd be surprised if we even considered him at 5. I do think though that if we stand pat at 5 it is down to Ansah or Cooper, just my gut feeling.

Look for jets, 9ers, falcons and st Louis to be trade up potentials for austin. We trade down then i think guard becomes a real good option.

If we traded back to the 8-10 range and got Chance Warmack I'd be ecstatic. I think Cooper and Warmack are both great, but I've heard for many months that Warmack is the best guard to come out in over a decade. This is my ideal scenario because we get a GREAT starter and pick up an extra 2nd or 3rd rounder.

love the guys in rd 2 and rd 3. gotta think in a weak top part of the draft anytime you could move back and get some quality guys in rd 2 or 3 this year would be worth it in the end. Only way you should be throwing picks away this year is for one of the top LTs imo.

Mayock has Cooper rated ahead of Warmack. I would not mind either, if we traded back 5-10 spots.
