it could be worse

shit, we HAVE been the colts......so yes, it's refreshing to see someone else suffer for once.

Don't tell me how underrated Peyton Manning is. I know their defense is giving up some points but the Colts are brutal without Peyton. He should be MVP every year.

We already where the colts and not that long ago either. I liked how that backup RB they have ran though, wish we had someone that wanted it that bad. What would it take to get him here?

If you look around the league there are running backs who I don't consider any better than Morris and company that get yards. That have good games. I think they get blamed too much. The Lions run blocking must be the worst in all of football.

they ran for over 5 ypc yesterday. at some point you just need to face facts that they hitched their wagon to best and that's been a huge issue. with rb's that can run more I-runs and not this shitgun draws and whatever, they got yards. best significantly limits what they can do in the run game. it might not be 4-5 yds every touch yesterday...but even turner didnt do that. he had negative and lot of 1-2 yd runs. he just happened to break off 2 good sized runs.

That seems to happen a lot....because their LB's aren't very good.

62-7 aside, the Colts have yet to go 0 for '11, nor have the Rams, who like the '08 Lions were undefeated in the pre-season.

It is nearing the halfway point, so who knows? One or maybe even both will go 0-16, and join the '08 Lions in historic NFL infamy.

"Luck"ily- they are not scheduled to play each other this season, so there's that, too.

But the Lions franchise will always have the notorious distinction of being the first, can't ever take that away from 'em.

I could give 2 shits about that season and anyone who may or may not go winless. point being, the colts and dolphins are dreadful. they may win a game...but I honestly believe that dolphins team is worse than that lions team. i was embarassed for them yesterday watching that crap. they have a joke owner, no player personnel evaluators worth a shit. but the lions season is in the past, and they are moving forward. but the last of the millen stench (raiola/backus/cherilus) needs to be gone for this team to take the next step. they just suck.

They've been to 4 SBs. The current Colts have been to 2 and won 1. The Lions are the worst. So it can't be worse.
