Jahvid Best headed to IR

It will be interesting to see what the Lions do with him. Hard to count on a guy who continues to have concussion issues. It's only a matter of a time (and probably a very short period of time) before he suffers another one next season.

just drop him....when your a poor mans reggie bush and you cant even stay on the field....well thats pretty effin poor lol.

MM's worst decision since hes been here. He let Schwartz and his YouTube comments sway the decision. One of the few times he didnt go BPA and he paid for it.

He's a 3rd down back and with that you still have to be careful with him. I hope Leshoure is a factor next year, because getting those 2 back next year could be like adding a couple 1st round talents.

Can we please not spend more high draft picks on RBs in the near future though?

Lol. You really think they look at YouTube and say "Damn, we need this guy"?

not surprised at all, early reports from weeks back were suggesting he might be done for the year and that his docs were recommend he sit the rest of the year out at least if not considering calling it a career already. Once again the Lions are slow to let every one else in on what they probably already knew was going to happen weeks ago.

Basically zero way to predict how a concussion is going to progress

Schwartz doesnt cream in his pants for him and no way we trade up to get him...MM made a mistake and most of us knew it on day 1.

Fucked up thing is that if kevin smith could stay healthy, he may have made best expendable. He doesnt have the same speed obviously, but he got chunks of yards in the passing game due to good vision. I would rather have that than what is essentially the clone of brian westbrook. And it looks like smith is shitting on a golden opportunity all over again. Dammit.

But the point is, they don't look at YouTube, lol. So in retrospec it was a bad draft pick, so be it. It'll happen again.
