I knew TL and JL were tight, but it sounds like DD is fairly close with him too. I could definitely see this happening if DD is truly the shoe in as the next commissioner. If Daddy Al is the next GM, who better to surround him with than LaRussa, Kaline, Horton and Leyland? That's a LOT of baseball intelligence and experience.
