I came across Wilbert Robinson...elected to the HOF as a manager in 1945. His career record: 1399-1398. He won two pennants with Brooklyn (1916, 1920).

Leyland: 1588-1585 with four division titles, 2 wild cards, 2 pennants, and a WS title. He is 18th on the All-time win list. Of the 17 ahead of him, 11 are in the HOF and four are not eligible. The two outliers are Ralph Houk and Gene Mauch. Mauch finished with a .483 win % and three amazing chokes. Houk finished .514., won three pennants, 2 world series, and then was stuck with the terrible Yankee teams of the late 60s/early 70s, a rebuilding effort in Detroit, and then an average Red Sox team in the early 80s.

He will be 15th in wins before June. There are 15 HOF managers that have fewer wins. He is a very respected manager (outside of this board) and will easily get in the HOF.
