We are just five weeks away from the 2024 NFL Draft and the Lions have left everyone wondering, what direction are they going?

When we started Mock Draft Monday we had a clear idea of what this roster needed. After free agency and Brad Holmes making some trades, they suddenly lack a glaring need on either side of the ball. That opens the door for the Lions front office to take a unique path in the draft, taking the best player available.

Having a roster that just made an NFC Championship game appearance doesn't often need an overhaul but to be able to take the best player available is rare. Brad Holmes and his staff have aced this draft process, will they when the pressure is off on hitting at a certain position?
