Lions O-Line ranked 10th

That says it all. Sims is the only one worth a damn, Cherilus blows and the rest are just about done.

This.

Goz is awful, and the rest (besides Sims) need to be replaced/upgraded. Sackus gets a bad rap, but he is far from the worst problem. At least he's stayed healthy and reliably mediocre. I dream of the day we find our own Jake Long.

I'd really have no issue with us going OL in the 1st/2nd/3rd this year. I'm expecting at least on OL drafted there, and kinda hope for two. I think we'll need to take a DE too.

Yeah Round 1 LT(Mike Adams), Round G/T(Kelechi Osemele), Round 3 Center(Phillip Blake) I have no problem with that but CB will be an issue. Also no way you could start 3 rookies so Backus/Raiola would probably still play but I'd put Adams in Goz spot for a year. I'd even get rid of Corey Williams if it meant the Lions can sign a corner and do an all OL early draft. All hinges on the Calvin deal and getting Tulloch and Avril back first.

They could easily go DE, RB and DT in the first 3 rounds so who knows.

wouldn't expect a OT this year again....Schwartz was piping off about how much they love Jason Fox yesteday at the combine.

I expect Backus , Fox and Cherilus all back again in 2012.... :-[

Amari will be the starting safety as well.

Fox is still in the picture? Interesting. They must have really considered him a long term project. If that is the case and they have continued to see him improve, then that is great news. Would hate to see that pick bust. It can take several years for OL to develop into a solid player, so hopefully he can replace one of those guys soon!

I said this months ago. The staff expected him to struggle as a rookie, he was raw and coming off an injury. They weren't going to give up on him after that first year. They expected to see improvement last year but never got the chance. They're at least going to give him a chance at RT IMO. Doubt he develops into a LT though.

Danny Diggler[/color]]So do you get to say he's raw and coming off an injury every season?
Obviously not. 2 injuries doesn't make him injury prone (Stafford). Now, if he misses next season, he gone.
