* - Player has spent two years on a practice squad. In order to be eligible for a third year on a practice squad, the rules state that his team must have had 53 players on its roster during his entire period of employment. I believe that is the case with the Lions, but I can't say for sure. (These rules are quite tricky.)

nothing serious at all....they didn't have a roster spot for him right away Im guessing and he would not have cleared waivers so they put him on IR.

it's just a list they released earlier in the week of guys that were eligible.

I'll alter it of guys that made the roster though.

yeah...after i posted i noticed fairley's name on the list and felt totally retarded. i'd like to see mixon make the PS, but if he's hurt i don't see that happening. is the ir for culbreath season long, like what they did to stanton? or was it pup?
