The Lions and linebacker DeAndre Levy have agreed to terms on a new multi-year contract, according to league sources.

DeAndre Levy No. 41 out of 43 OLB in 4-3 defenses last year. Justin Durant ranked No. 18.

One less hole to fill. We'll see if they get Durant back too. Levy is younger and better in coverage but Durant is much better in run defense. Depends on the deal if this is a good move

Lions and LB DeAndre Levy have agreed to terms. I'm told it's a three-year deal.

I like the 3 years but the cap numbers are what really matter.

fml....so much for xanders helping mayhew make smart decisions.

Durant is the guy they should have kept but probably was going to cost more money. Or they just havent cemented his deal yet and they are bringing both back. Durant was head and shoulders better than missed tackle levy last year.

Haha I knew you would hate this. I thought you didnt' want Whitehead and Lewis to play. We'll see if Durant comes back.

Durant and a rd 3 rookie would have been better than levy :/ oh well....

That's if you think Mayhew can draft a decent round 3 rookie.

He doesn't think Mayhew can draft well in the mid rounds
He didn't like Whitehead or Lewis
And he doesn't like Levy.

He's screwed on all angles
