The Detroit Lions are 11-1 after defeating the Chicago Bears 23-20 in Ford Field on Thanksgiving. It was not nearly as easy of a victory as it looked like it would be when the Lions treated the home crowd to a fantastic first half, but that’s why they play 60 minutes.
The Lions secured their first win on Thanksgiving since 2016 in nail-biting fashion. The outcome was not decided until the final play, one which the Bears coaching staff and fans will certainly want a do-over. Despite a plethora of injuries and some interesting officiating down the stretch, Detroit’s defense held on with the late stop.
