The Detroit Lions raced past the visiting Tennessee Titans, 52-14, in the Week 8 matchup at Ford Field. The one-win Titans were competitive early, tying the score at 14 very early in the second quarter.
After that, it was all Lions all the time. Despite some meager offensive statistics, Detroit completely dominated in all three phases en route to the blowout win. Many of the key starters exited the game for the Lions early in the fourth quarter after the margin exploded to 49-14 midway through the third quarter.
