If you're the son of a billionaire, the Free Press will politely refer to the hooker in your car as "a female passenger." Also, prosecutors will drop a felony possession charge in a plea deal in exchange for no jail time & a year probation.

Ouch. I hadn't seen this till right now.

I remember watching a video on the Freep website of another Illitch son, who works in the Illitch's development arm, unveil the new Wings' arena going up downtown. He was totally unimpressive and uncomfortable on camera, and came away looking like somewhat of a buffoon. I guess it's good to be the son of a guy worth millions.

And if you ever see Mike in person these days, he's clearly getting up there in age.
