mass shooting in Houston

lol....I had a comment about you in the post but thought it was a little insensitive.

hmmm.

well, don't feel like you have to be concerned about my feelings; I'm a man. I can take it. Especially on a message board.

by Houston standards, this isn't actually too far away, although I'm not generally in that area, nor do i pass through there. it's a pretty nice area. we looked up the guy as everyone here was curious who he was... no one knew him.

well so long as it isn't 'self-radicalized' terrorist lawyers or a black man shooting a cop/vice versa, nothing to see here ....move along.

Go Guns!

appropos of this thread... saw my first "open carry retard" last week.

older guy in his 60's, wearing a harley davidson shirt, with a pistol in a hip holster, carrying a little toy dog. I discretely took a pic of him.

If you're that afraid of crime you need to pack heat everywhere you go, maybe don't bring your little yappy dog with you? I can't even begin to understand the sort of world where this makes sense...

Oh and we were in a commerical part of a reasonably nice part of town, with lots of people out eating lunch. just the kind of place you need a gun right?

you mean the kind of area where a lot of mass shootings occur? you know, the places where you'd least expect them to happen? What an idiot!

and what's your point about the dog? are you worried that the dog might set off a massive shootout? Like someone is going to insult the guy's dog even thought that probably never happens to unarmed people, but will probably happen because the dude is packing and the place is going to turn into the OK Corral. or are you saying it's irresponsible of the pet owner to put his dog in harm's way or something like that?

well, more practical consideration, like what do you do with your dog if you need to draw your gun out in a hurry? toss the poor thing aside? it's odd. i guess in Republican dreamland, there's always plenty of time to see the threat coming, put your yappy dog in a safe place, pull your gun out, aim and shoot.

ah, so it's about reaction time. got it - that makes way more sense. I bet you and your Chicago buddies you texted the picture to had a big laugh about that. How big was the dog? Since we're really getting into the weeds to critique this poor Republican bastard, is it possible he could hold the dog with one hand and draw his pistol with the other? Let us know what the fellas in Chitown say about that...
