Price was injured most of the season, he couldn't run but he still blocked fairly well.

We lead for 4 Star AZ WR/TE Tyler Johnson too. His dad is Bill Johnson who played DT at MSU and then in the NFL. Johnson insists he's a WR at 6-4, 245 lbs, but he's ranked the #4 TE in the country. We are taking 3 TEs this class.

On a side note I hate the new commitment video as the replant the hat dance. I saw the Michigan one the other day and thought it was stupid, this is just as bad. I think it's disrespectful to the other teams that offered you a scholarship. I much prefer the kids that just tweet out where they're going

We are currently 27th as far as ranks for recruiting with 2, 4* star guys and 11, 3*. I think its safe to say we have enough 3 star guys. We do not need to satisfice at this point. Yes we will extract a few great players from the pool of 3 * guys but we dont need to settle for lesser talent. Im seeing some players coming in with their 2nd best offer from Bowling Green etc. Thats ok every now and then but we need 8-10 4* guys a year. No more 3* stars please..... annoying

We are 20th in the composite, 14th on Scout, and 18th on Rivals.

Every player in this class is a plan A guy. We just beat half the schools in the country for Dotson. This is a typical Dantonio class and we're going to land a few of our other top targets too. And several of our players are going to get a 4 star bump if that's what matters to you.

Keep an eye on Iowa WR Oliver Martin, he's an MSU lean and just blew up at the Opening. 3 star kid who just put up a SPARQ score of 133+, with that score he'll be in the top3 WRs at the camp that included probably 30-40 4 and 5 star WRs. He's the perfect slot WR and if we take him we'll pass on KJ Hamler.
