Being reported he has left the team

Maybe he figured to be used a lot less now that Drevno is gone (no more 4+ jet sweeps a game for 6 total yards), and he's sliding down the depth chart as a receiver.

Still he probably could've contributed this fall. I don't know if this is a good or a bad thing overall.

Was not having the impact we thought he would after his freshman year-although I will miss the stadium roaring with Doooooom

Depth at WR is great now. Young last year and there are always injuries, but off the top of my head I can name 5 WRs ahead of him.

Black
DPJ
Martin
Collins
Perry

to say nothing of the depth at TE and use of that position.

Haven't we also used Schoenle as a WR even though he's big enough to play TE?

I read that with McDoom's departure, all 4 2016 WR signees are no longer on the team

Schoenle is only 6'2" 202 lbs, so you are probably thinking of someone else.

All the WRs from 2016 are gone unless you want to count Brad Hawkins. He was listed as a WR coming out, but he was moved to safety. I don't really count that.
