That's the third tackle being brought in. And not a single corner.

Free agent LT Marcus McNeill will visit the Lions on Thursday.
It appears the Lions are exploring alternatives to in-house free agent LT Jeff Backus. Detroit will be McNeill's first-known visit since his Tuesday release.

Nevermind. Jacob Lacey coming in

oh joy.....

Lacey was benched for a five-game stretch by the Colts last season, and graded out as one of the poorer cornerbacks in the league by Pro Football Focus

I think Backus might be finished. His health must be a problem.

anyone know anything about Mcneil's health? He was a pretty damn good tackle a couple years ago.

Winston comming too...no deal in Miami

Eric Winston - T - Texans

Free agent RT Eric Winston left the Dolphins facility without an agreement Wednesday night.
Discussions with the Dolphins will continue, but he's moving on to his scheduled visits with the Ravens, Rams, Chiefs, and Lions. Winston made it clear Wednesday that joining a winning team is high on his list of priorities.

Marcus McNeill - T - Chargers

The player rep for free agent LT Marcus McNeill insists his client is fully healthy despite McNeill's inability to pass the Chargers' exit physical.
McNeill has knee and back conditions, and the concern inside the Chargers' building was that they are chronic. "He has been cleared to play by neck and spine specialist Craig Brigham," insisted McNeill's agent, Alvin Keels. "He's 100 percent healthy." Interested teams, if there are any, will determine that on an individual basis when they bring McNeill in for physicals.

Hey, Eric Wright did as well! Perfect replacement!

wow. I still think they resign backus regardless of which OL they get.

They had to cut him, he was making a ton of money and Gaither played well for them

not exactly a confidence filler, but we'll see. If he's healthy, I'd love to take him and sign Backus for the RT spot.

Yep. I hope they get that Schwartz guy too, but there's nothing wrong with kicking the tires on a once-dominant tackle

nothing at all. Staff needs to be protected. I'd rather throw big money at these guys (leaving some for tulloch) and use the draft for defense.

In the end, i doubt we get either. We'll end up resigning our guys and some smaller name FAs.

If winning is high on his list why visit the Rams? Or KC for that matter.

Jeff Fisher......a shit load of draft picks and cap money. He'll have it turned around in a second

It won't be this season though. Only added a 2nd and Fisher can only do so much.

If the Seachickens get Flynn they'll compete. AZ has an outside shot at Manning.

Rams have big question marks on the OLINE....the D should be good though.
