Performing "Phantom Lord" and "Jump In The Fire" on stage at the Fillmore in San Francisco at the last 30th Anniversary Show on December 10, 2011.
Both were early members of Metallica before McGovney quit, and Mustaine was kicked out of the band soon after, the latter who then formed his own band, Megadeth, and the late Cliff Burton and Kirk Hammett replaced them, waay back in 83. Mustaine hadn't played live with Metallica for longer than Roger Waters, from the remaining members of Pink Floyd (RIP Rick Wright since) then they had a brief reunion @ Live 8 several years ago. Never thought that there ever was a chance of this reunion happening...haha!!
