There was only one Virginia Tech place kicker on the depth chart that filed into the Mercedes-Benz Superdome for practice on Thursday-- Justin Myer. Just days after starting kicker Cody Journell was arrested for breaking and entering and did not travel with the team to New Orleans for the Allstate Sugar Bowl, another back-up kicker Tyler Weiss, a redshirt senior, was sent home after missing the 1 a.m. curfew early this morning.

Thats one area we would never have guessed to have an advantage over anyone after last year.

What a difference a year makes! Last year we couldn't even make a field goal or keep the ball in the field of play on kickoffs. LOL!
