4 games to go with the most crucial on Sunday. If we win we should get at worst a share of the title, I don't see us losing two of the final 3. I'd love if this was our final game but its not, Michigan has 7 days prep, we have 2 but their game film against us is without payne and were playing the same team we saw in east Lansing.

I just think it comes down to payne, he's been excellent and if he can stay on the floor we win. He can guard gr3 (who almost guards himself ) but Robinson can't guard payne. If we take that matchup and everything else plays out like you'd expect then we win. If Michigan is hot or ap gets in foul trouble, it will be a long day.

I like their chances this weekend for no other reason than they seem to play well on the road, combined with improving health.

It's a long shot but if the team were to somehow run the table or perhaps win 3 of the 4 remaining regular season games then win the BTT, I could see them sneaking in as a #1 seed if the injuries are factored in somewhat or at least get a strong 2.

If we wiin the B1G, we should get a 2 seed and maybe the 2 seed in the Midwest with Wichita State have the #1 seed.

If we win out we're a 1, selection committee will account for injuries, no doubt. We were a 7 loss #1 in 2000 bc of the mateen injury

My line guess is UM -1.5. Obviously an important game given the Nebraska debacle a few nights ago. Who is going to show for this one? Payne is consistent, Harris and Valentine are not. I think everyone is expecting a close one..

Just pray for Carolina to lose in the first 2 rounds... I dont want to see any more blindfolded upper deck hook shot swishes. :argh:

"who almost guards himself" Im putting that in the ammo can.

Dawson ruled out for Sunday's game. Not much of a surprise. Probably wouldn't have played much anyways.

Sounds like they'd be worried about infection if he played.

It sucks that they got in at 4am friday, had a light practice yesterday. I think no matter what its payne, payne, payne. If he plays the way he has lately we win. He just needs to stay on the floor, only played about 15 first half minutes in the last two gamea

He'll more than likely be put on Morgan/Horford who aren't really going to force him into foul trouble.
I'm also in favor of playing through payne the whole game. Maybe the threes will still be falling for everyone? That would be nice.

I almost hope Michigan loses so we don't have to hear izzo repeat this line over and over in between bursts of tears tomorrow afternoon.

I said before that Payne would be the key to the game, he didn't bring it and we lost. Izzo said it was fatigue, that leads to missed FT's and jumpers, not having your legs. he was doubled over holding his shorts in the first half. there was even a time when Trice called for payne to set a pick and he just stood there, he wanted to wait an extra 5 seconds before going to set the screen to get a breather, Trice called again and he set the screen.
