CNBC paid for the survey, 514 participants

51% say wealth inequality is a major problem
2/3 support higher taxes on the wealthy and higher minimum wage
94% think the American Dream is achievable
When asked about the causes of inequality, 78% pointed to access to education, 2/3 pointed to financial literacy.

There was a significant political partisan split on the answers.
