Minor league players question

I understand the idea of using the mlp's in the games to keep down injuries and keep the 25 man roster fresh. But Thomas seems to be getting quite a few AB's lately more so than many others. The battle for the 25th spot from what I've been getting is between infielders, right?
Really should the Tigers be looking at the out field hasn't Berry had a good spring?

He has no options so I guess its to find out if he has anything to show he belongs on the 25-man roster or cut his ass..

I assume you're referring to Clete Thomas?

Mitch has it right. Leyland is giving Clete every opportunity in the world to earn a spot.

Much like Inge, Clete is choking instead.

I think the Tigers are just trying to be fair, Clete is going to get waived, and they are giving him every opportunity to showcase himself to other teams that may be interested in his services.

This is only fair, Clete put in his time in the minors, but we have no room for him on the 25 man roster, maybe someone needs him or will sign him to a minor league contract if he clears waivers and becomes a FA.
